for Nathan D. Lee (PA/2nd AC Loader)
Nathan began directing short films in 1999 when he co-wrote and directed Tacoma. In addition to Tacoma he has also directed several other short films including “The Soda” a 16mm silent comedy, “Bologna Gone Bad” a short claymation film following a piece of bologna who expires and turns to a life of crime, and his most recent project "The Money Ring," a much larger scale 16mm short which is currently in post production.
Professionally Nathan began working in entertainment in 1999 working exclusively in live theater. He has worked heavily in live theater as a lighting electrician and a sound designer at various theaters throughout San Diego and Seattle.
Nathan started feature film work as a PA in 2005 on the film "The Outlaw Trail." which recently won a Crystal Heart Award at the Heartland Film Festival in Indianapolis. Since Outlaw Trail he has worked on several features including the Warner Brothers film "Unaccompanied Minors." The Meryl Streep film "Dark Matter" and the new Sean Astin film "Forever Strong." on which he began working in the camera department. He has also worked on several commercials and TV documentaries for Frontline, Toyota, and Free Country Clothing. While still available for PA work he is also working as a 2nd AC / Camera Loader.
